"Protestors" not being held accountable

Protestors in the PNW are not being held accountable for their actions. As their violence floods the streets, and their cities burn, violent criminals are being immediately realeased back to the public they are harming. My own father had his truck stolen, and the perpetrator claimed to be a protestor and was thus set free immediatley. They did not ask my father if he wanted to press charges. They did not hold him in a cell and punish him for the crime. My father was not teven given a name. He has to pay for repairs to the truck out of his own pocket and I think that is absoluetly reprehensible. Criminals are not facing punishment for their crimes...
